Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on July 15, 2025.

We at Ability Childcare are working to make our daycare accessible to children with disabilities.

What accessibility is

In the context of daycare, accessibility means allowing all children, regardless of their physical or developmental abilities, to engage fully in the daycare setting. This encompasses having facilities that cater to children with disabilities, such as wheelchair ramps, accessible restrooms, and sensory areas. Furthermore, it involves training staff to meet diverse needs, fostering an inclusive environment where every child can succeed and feel appreciated.

Accessibility adjustments in our center

At our daycare, we are dedicated to accommodating all children and families. We create an inclusive environment where every child feels welcome and supported, with staff trained to adapt activities for full participation. Your child's comfort and happiness are our priorities. Here at our center, we:

  • Provide flexible food options tailored to each child's dietary needs

  • Ensure easy access entry and exit points for all children

  • Offer specialized sensory toys for kids with special needs

  • Maintain wheelchair-friendly facilities throughout the center

  • Create sensory-friendly areas for children with sensory sensitivities

  • Promote an inclusive environment that encourages social interaction among all children
